Subject: Good work, except. . .

It's a pretty professional job. Like the other pages, it looks good and is very clear, except for one point. Maybe I'm just slow on the uptake, but what is the advantage of a dipole bass speaker? I understand the dual sound lobe idea, but I have no idea how that sounds, or why it is better. I have never listened to dipole speakers, so maybe it's just me who is in the dark. I'm sure that more experienced audiophiles would understand the advantages instantly, but curious beginners like myself don't quite catch on. In every other way, it is very informative and well laid out, just like the rest of the site. I found the rest of the site to be extremely helpful in designing my first subwoofer. Thanks.
