Subject: Amp & subwoofer wireing HELP

I have a 45watt per ch x4 Jensen CD player/tuner in my car. I have plenty of power but not alot of bass. I purchased a 300 watt 4x75 amp to drive a subwoofer. The manual tells me how to hook up the amp and the four speakers but not the sub. How do I hook up the subwoofer? Can I use the amp to drive just the subwoofer? This is what I would like to do.
