Well, it depends on how you define "better". Certainly the Audiomobile subs LOOK better than the Shivas, but a few quick sims show me that you will have to apply 50% more power to the Audiomobile subs to get the same SPL levels that you can get from the Shiva in a sealed box with the same Qtc (the Shiva's is slightly larger than the 2012's). And of course, for the price of one 2012, you can get TWO Shivas :-). The Shiva remains king in the SPL/$ race, in my view. The Audiomobile sub is probably more suitable for car audio installs where you've got a lot of power to play with. >>>>>>>>>> I said "a little better" not "better", furthmore I agree as I did recommend he wait for the Shiva MKII. Two Shivas would murder a single Mass12. Also the Mass 12 is very suitable for Home use, high power amps can be had at quite reasonable costs.
