Subject: Re: Sealed enclosure questions

Diamond Audio d312 came in 2 versions the d2 and the
d4, similar specs.
fs: 86 - 86
qms: 6.2 - 6.4
qes: .72 - .79
qts: .64 - .70
fs: 38 - 40
vas: 28.8 - 26.8
xmax (mm): 11 -12

diamond suggests a sealed enclosure of 1.5 ft^3 for an
f3 of 44. qtc of 0.793. or a ported box at 2ft^3 with a
4"x8" port which gives an f3 of 32hz.

i havent modeled it, but for home use, you could
probably get away with a bit larger sealed enclosure to
grab a little more extension. with the above specs, try
modeling with the ported.xls spreadsheet from this site
and use the above box suggestions as a starting point.
