Subject: Box lining

Hey there,

if you want to line the inner surfaces of your ported sub box. Would
construction insulation material be suited for that? Would the stuff in the
picture work? Or would it be too fluffy and be ejected from the ports? Of
course I would keep some distance from the ports, I was thinking of
maybe using slot ports. I read that it will make the box appear larger to
the woofer too? So should I take this in account when calculating the box
volume? I know it really comes down to experimenting with it, but is there
some kind of guideline? Any tips on how thick the material should be?
