Horns and Ports |

Would it be possible to add a folded horn to the loudspeaker of a ported subwoofer? (i.e design a ported and folded horn enclosure). Would the horn change the way the loudspeaker handles and then effect things like the port sizes etc? If it is possible, would it be best to direct the ports out to the front? Would the enclosure shape, taking into account the built in horn, be an important consideration, and would it be possible to "inject" the ports into the horn itself, either along the tract of the horn or where the loudspeaker is? Thanks. Moderated By: brian@diysubwoofers.org
