Subject: Box Design

I am going to build a box for a Selenium 15SWS1100. It will be
powered by a Crown XLS 2500. I will use it for djing in various
environments. My question is what is what would be my best bet for a
box? I was told by a friend who has plenty of experience that the
easiest/best sounding for effort would be a sealed box with internal
volume of 5.3 cu. ft. I have been plugging the info on the speaker into
several online calculators and they all come up with something along
the lines of 2.8 cu. ft. and a frequency of 63 hz. Is his experience
accounting for something that these calculators are not? I will talk to
him again this weekend but was looking for some other input. Thanks!
