I also have an old Sony system with the ss-u521av speakers adn my woofer went out. Checked on line and found replacement new at the partsstore.com - http://www.partstore.com/Model/Sony/Sony/SSU521AV.aspx
They want $165 each for them plus $20 each for the mid range. At this point given my speakers are 18 years old and the new technology - it may make sense to spend $800 for a new speaker surround ssytem that pay $330 for the wooferand still may have to repace other speakers soon - thoughts?
