Subject: Frequency response

If I calculate the frequency response for a design with for instance the
formulas at http://www.diysubwoofers.org/bnd/4thord2.htm , how
much will the frequency response of the driver itself affect the design's
actual response? Or is the driver's frequency response sufficiently
accurately described by its T/S parameters?

In other words, suppose the response curve given by the driver's
manufacturer* starts rolling off at 60Hz, does this mean that the
response of the entire system will also start dropping at 60Hz even if
the calculated response predicts it will be flat down to 30Hz? Or will it
really be more or less flat down to 30Hz?

(*: How is this response measured anyway? I guess it is measured in an
infinite baffle setup?)
