Subject:	Ports and subwoofers

I'm building an vented box for a dayton rss315hf-4 3.0 cu ft. 17.5 x 17.5 18.45 in height.My problem is the port is 4x19 inches long.Should I turn the port 1/2 way up,do a dual port or use a 8 inch port.I'm not sure of the calculations for these different options.Anyone have any ideas for the best option.Thanks
