Thank you for your response. The short answer is yes, I am looking for around 19 Hz, not something in the audible range.
According to some research, infrasound, at about 19 Hz, should create a sense of fear. My hope is to build something to generate this sound on demand for a charity haunted house I help at (http://www.fearshirefarms.com/). We want to give people a great scare, have them tell their friends, and they all come back for more.

I am not looking for something to play pretty music, I am looking for a way to generate infrasound on demand, and stop it (say, during break time, or when we are not there). I also need to be careful, the house part of our haunt is actually a real house on a real farm that the people have been kind enough to let us use as a haunt for charity.
If I may answer any other questions, please let me know. I do not have any notable prior experience with speakers and such, so please forgive me if I do not know things that might be common knowledge to those mwith more experience.
