Subject: 4-way car system with 5 kilowatts

Guys,

I'm in US buying some parts for my car system project, which is in Brazil. My goal is to exceed 120 dB in all frequencies. It's an internal system but also meant for outdoor listening.

I'm buying 3 full-range class D amps with 600 watts each and a 3200 watt class D sub amp. I'll use a BatCap for electrical system reinforcement (it's way better than using capacitors).

Speakers of the 4-ways

1 - A pair of Power Acoustik NX10 tweeters. They said it's the loudest on the market. Other alternatives are mini horned tweeters as Beyma CS09.

2 - Working above 300 Hz, two pairs of 5" super efficient woofers, 2 in each pod. Each pod will have 1,4 litters.
0,28 Qts
125 Hz Fs
96~99 db/w

3 - Two SDX7 in a 15 L "knee-pod" working from 50 Hz to 300 Hz. This pod will be below the legs, right in front of the seats. I'm planning to power them with 300 w each (I hope they don't overheat).

4 - Two AV12 subs with 15" passive radiators. I know that's new in car audio but I believe it will work. The PRs when installed, don't shake at all and will be in optimal position so that they feel the curves but not the breaks and bumps.

Everything is simulated in WinISD and planned in details.

total cost is about US$ 2000
