take the wideband signal from your source into a low pass filter.
Feed the output from the low pass filter to the input of the bass amplifier.
Feed the output of the bass amplifier to the input of the bass speaker.
Adjust the low pass filter gain and slope and turnover frequency until you get the sound you need.
