Tim,

Long time.

I received a blank PM from you, bearing only your URL. I replied, asking
if this was a an error, but you never confirmed.

Some people feel that placement options with just one bass source is
limiting. A single sub might sound best where it is not
practical to have it. Using two subs, assuming you understanding how
to exploit phase reinforcement, allows more (remote) positions to be
explored. I never had a major problem with only one, but shape, size,
texture and occupancy of the listening room, all contribute to present
unique sonic challenges. If you feel you have a (sonic) challenge, then
two could be better than one.

Just because you have (a) powerful sub(s) , does not mean you have to
turn it up. Whatever bass you need you dial up. With that said, two
Tekton 21" subs, powered with your stated set up, is a heck of a lotta'
potential firepower, unless you live in an auditorium. We discussed
your philosophy (in an email), "bigger is better", and while the efficacy
of such, could be argued across the board, one can't help being left
envious by the shear magnitude of the system you are contemplating.

Glad to hear you're still at it. I'll start checking in more often.
