If it's an annular tear (it follows one of the rings of the spider), then it's likely caused by over-excursion. My guess is that you're using it in a vented alignment, and it's been seeing signals below the box's resonant frequency.
Unfortunately the only solution is to get it reconed, or buy a new driver.
