Subwoofer Repair Question |

On my Cerwin Vega VEGA series subs, I noticed one of them making almost a "scraping" sound. I took it out of the box and noticed the wavy paper at the spot where the cone goes into the magnet (Spider maybe?) has started to tear. I love these subs. 1) Why does it do this and 2) What can I do to repair it?
