Interesting, that puts the chambers in a different arrangement from the 6th order I was thinking about. Either way, all that does is add a second Helmholtz resonator to the ported system, giving it a second tuning frequency. It would increase power handling in the passband, but adding another resonator would also steepen the roll off below the lowest resonance. If one were to build such an alignment, I'd recommend a steep 'rumble filter' just below tuning to avoid an enthusiastic driver failure :).
