Subject: parameters for a 21" Tekton

I posted a message earlier, but did'nt include some important info.I'm very green as far as the audiophile game goes, but I want to learn badly.I'm 41 yrs. old & have worked for U.P.S. for 22 yrs.For the most part,my expertise is del. pkgs. For a system,I have 2 Bryston 4B's bridged(600 WPC.)Each one going to a Klipsch Cornwall, modified by Bob Crites components, which make a huge difference.I have an Adcom GTP-600 preamp & an Arcam CD player.I've recently got a Tekton 21" subwoofer off ebay.I plan on building a 12cu. ft. cabinet for the sub.I have an Adcom 555ll amp(200 WPC stereo or 600 WPC bridged & have an Luxman TP117TP preamp if needed to power the Tekton.I was told a plate amp was hands down the best way to go,but the Adcom & Luxman are just sitting in the closet & would save a lot of $ if I can use it/or them instead of purchasing a plate amp.I know nothing of plate amps, but imagine it would take a huge plate amp to match the pwr. of an Adcom 555ll.I'm going to list all the parameters I could find now in hopes someone with the knowledge will be kjnd enough to let me know what is my best option. Here it goes. QTS= 0.302,fs=12.00hz,vas=53.96 cu. ft.,spl=92.0 db 1 wm,max pwr.=400wrms,diameter=0.533 m,x max= o.022 m calculated parameters vd=0.003386m'3,NO=0.010000,fc=28.09 hz,f3=28.10 hz,vb=12.04 cu. ft. ,par=3.029 accoustic,per=302.92w.That's all I could find for #'s.They say the Tekton sub is $1050 plus.I'll be more than happy to pay someone of knowledge to give me some answers.Someone suggested the active crossover the Reck horn(Reckhorn)B-1,an active crossover. Can someone please help me with this. When I get this sub figured out,I'll finally be done my system, and I think we've all been at this pt. where we just want to be done.Thank You & God Bless.P.S. My email is tspellman@maine.rr.com
