a stroker, anew one but a stroker none the less.
Here's the deal...leave it ported, nevermind the "flat to 20hz" especially in the ca of a truck and increase amplifier power. The new strokers aren't the old ones, but they'll do.

In my past experience, the only thing off from CV's specs is a bit of box size... they tend to shy a bit small..... in any case more clean power=louder SPL which is what you're looking for, trust me SPL is something I know just a little about.

As for the alternator, add 2 - 3 stiffening capacitors and you're golden.
