I went over to the Cerwin Vega site and it has a manual on this car subwoofer.

The link for the doucment is http://www.cerwinvegamobile.com/manuals/mobile/strokerpromanual.pdf

With a 1250 watt per voice coil(that is the claim) power handling and the ported box that is 1.2 cuft this is not a home subwoofer. The tuned frequecy is 49 Hz not exactly low. it's F3 point is 38 Hz.

This will require a large amplifier and I don't really know how they can get that kind of power into a 4 inch voice coil without melting down.

Anyway this will require some serious EQ to compensate and a bunch of power to get down to 20Hz which has a 1 wat output of 56dB in the above box.
