Actually I have a pair of good quality ONKYO dome tweeters. But i can't find any midrange driver that I like (@ where I live). But I think I can manage some quality 3" or 4" coaxial car speakers from the local market. As I think the tweeters of those coaxials are not as good as the ONKYOs, I want to discard them. Now I'm concerned about the response curve...how the coaxials might respond..can they replace standard midrange drivers? If I can get a single (1-way) full range 4" car speaker, would it work well?
