Ok, points well taken, but at the end of the day, all those factors (Qes,
Qms) are reflected in the drivers ability to displace air, Vas, at a certain
frequency. You either do it with area or excursion. The 21" has twice as
much of both, yet is has 3 cuft less Vas than the 18".
The intended application for these speakers is the same, and their Fs
are close.

I still don't get it, but I will move on to other aspects of this project.
