PA amps can be cheap and reliable.
If you have 300W then choose an 8ohm driver that has a sensitivity between 93db/W/m and 99db/W/m and a Qts between 0.3 and 0.4
I doubt many car bass speakers get anywhere near this.

What do you mean "as the resistance is higher"?
