1) Oog, good point. I had originally chosen that config because I didn't want a raw driver back just sticking out from the box. But the heat issue is indeed something I hadn't considered. It'll be a relatively low-watt application (70W RMS), but will heat still be a problem?
I find myself surprised that the Cookbook mentioned this configuration without mentioning heat. Perhaps in a later edition than the one I'm using...
