Your choice results in a larger enclosure, and more air enclosed between the two cones. The former defeats the purpose of going isobaric, and the latter can decrease efficiency a bit. Also with the two magnets now enclosed in that space, where's the heat going to go when you start feeding power to those speakers?

I wouldn't worry too much about that.
