Subject: 1st order crossover

Hello all,

Thinking about building my first 1st order crossover. I have one quick question. Sorry if it's kind of a beginners question. Let's say we are building a 2 way crossover. tweeter and woofer involved here. we have our crossover frequency of 3000 hz and all is good and well. The amplifier that I will use will be giving around 50 watts rms @ 4 ohms. What will determine the amount of power given to the tweeter, the woofer? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Erik
