Sub On Motorcycle |

I'm working on a project with my brother where we want to install a sub woofer on a Gold Wing.
We are considering recessing the speaker in a well in the bottom of the bikes trunk which essentially form a seald box for the speaker. Then we would create ports exiting the trunk itself for the sound to come from. The speaker would be in a box within a ported box.
Are we nuts... or can this work?
