How much insulation do I want to put into my subs??? |

I'm a guy in a band (live music situation).I believe that I put to much insulation into my subwoofer cabs. or not the right kind (I used R-13 with no paper backing from fleet farm). When I run them next to my other subs. (old JBL's) they seem weak and distant. The speaks are Carvin 18' subs. that I put into some old sonic front faced cabinets. I don't want them to sound loose and boomy from lack of ins. leading to low end feedback. I want them to sound like the JBL's I have next to them, tight and powerful! Can someone help?? bluewaterredsunset@hotmail.com
