Subject: XJ-12 vs Dayton 12

I plan on building a sub based more or less on the "Rump Thumper III" plans. However, I'm considering substituting the XJ-12* (acoustic-visions.com) for the Dayton. Actually I'm not sure which Dayton 12 would work best. It appears there are several. Also Is there a Port with a screw cap - in case it sounds better sealed? Many thanks, Scott

XJ-12* specs:
