Addition of a powered subwoofer to powered two channel computer sound |

A silly question perhaps, but heregoes. I have a pair of powered
computer speakers, but would like to add a sub to the system to improve
sound. Do all or most powered subs function with a pass through
connection so that the computer out would go into the sub, and the
signal then passed on to the powered satellites? Hope that is clear
enough. Thanks for any help.
