Neon Wiring In Subwoofer Box Help |

Hello I have just made a custom 10 cu ft snail shell box for my ford escort. For now i have just 2 12" pyle subs (pyle of junk) anyway im getting mtx 9500 15"s soon. Well i have a ported 3" by 12" slot in the middle where the 2 seperate snail shell compartments meet to go out the hole. I was wanting to put a neon in there and have it to whenever the bass hit the neon will glow up brighter. Is this possible? i read it somewhere before. If this isnt possible then how can i wire this thing up.
