Well, here ya go, at half volume my WO with was hitting 126db plus on a radioshack meter, know for being off (lower than actual).
I assume its correct and that I am not actually louder. Now the subs I have are 91 db efficient and 1000w peak. means the two can get up to 121 db at full power. SO I was a little off on my memory, I remember 19 db int here somewhere, no clue how...
anyways the box was hittin 126 no prob with 9 db drivers. Maybe 1/4 power.
