Thanks for checking. I have found virtually no record of it anywhere. The label on it says "Alpine Electronics, Inc" and the label indicates it is a Model 6491 Folded Horn Twin-Driven Subwoofer System. It's clearly not a monster, as the label also indicates that max power is 30Wx2ch. Impedence is listed as 4 ohms x 2 ch. It looks like a long black shoebox with two pairs of spring-clip connection panels on the back. At each end of the "brick" is a mesh opening at the bottom of the box that appears to be about 2 inches high by 7 inches wide with an Alpine logo centered on each. These two openings are the only discernible features on the box beyond the small connection panels. I don't have the one I bought in my possession yet - I can't wait to see what its all about. I just don't recall ever seeing such a thing from Alpine - and the price justified pursuing my curiousity...
