THanks for helpin out with my problem. Kicker calls for a 1 cu. ft. box so I wouldn't think that is the problem. I was really thinkin that it might be the cabin gain but I guess that rules that out. I unfortunatly don't have another amp to try out or another subwoofer that would fit in the truck.
But actually the sub has started to sound better since I've been using it. I think it may have just been sittin around a while and needed a little breakin back in. It may have been a problem that I've seen before where the person had stored the sub on it's face, kind of bending the shape of the surround pushing the cone in more. I will talk to the owner though once I can figure a little bit more out.
