Wow, thanks for the fast response! Those 12" drivers look very good, that’s a viable option.

Are there any smaller drivers you can recommend, or is this a recommendation against smaller drivers? Aesthetically, I’d prefer a narrow front baffle (see the picture of a PMC TLE1 above). I’m thinking dual 8” if I can, going to 10” or 12” if necessary.

I listen at fairly moderate levels, perhaps 60dB reference (with pink noise), with movies going up to maybe 70dB reference. At moderate levels I’d like 25 Hz (I don’t need 16 Hz), but the quality, linearity and authority between 35Hz and 100Hz is more important (for my music).

Although I can put a 5cu’ box in my room, I’d rather have something 2-3 cu’ with a narrow front panel (I’m assuming that I want front firing). Later on I can add a second sub for smoother room response, and higher maximum volume levels.
