If the reason for using the fiberfill is to make the box appear larger to the driver then I might not even need it. I plan to make the internal volume of the box as close as possible to the manufacturer recommended volume. In that case would you recommend that I use the matting or just leave it out? The matting is not very dense...similar to auto carpet in density. I do plan to brace the box fairly well also (as much as possible considering the available size constraints of my application). I have a couple of other questions on building this box that I will post separately. TFTH, Mike
