Subject: Re: infinite baffle better or what?

Not to be double posting but I found some on the exact measurements and model etc.

9.75"x20.5"x22.75" big box
4.25"x15.25"x19.5" small box

model Altec Lansing ACS90
Drivers (per satellite)- 1 full range 3-inch speaker
Satellite power (per channel)- 4.5 W at < 0.8% THD
Frequency response- 90 Hz - 20 kHz
Sensitivity- 300-mV input for full output
Treble - 7 dB at 10 kHz
Input impedance - > 10,000 ohms

that is the link, I also am running the speakers off of the amp that came with them (inside the little boxes)

But any reason a long flat box would make better base then a real infinite baffle?
