Actually the previous poster is a bit more accurate. The Heil Transar system from the 70's used a woofer system with a VERY similar design to the new Tymphany woofers. Most people are only familiar with Dr. Heils more common AMT tweeters, but he also pioneered the very unique ( at least until Tymphany came along) woofer system used in the EES Transar system.

Most people are not familiar with this 70's all out assualt on the SOTA because there were very few made.
