I am building a subwoofer in the corner of the room that will be behind my 60" LCD hidden from view to the rest of the room. I have two Infinity 6.5” drivers and two Daton 10” passive radiators. The sub will be driven with 100 Watts Rms. Driver specifications: • 6 ½” dual voice coil woofer, polypropylene cone, urethane surround • Efficiency: 92 dB 1W/1m • Power recommendations: 5 to 80 watts (undistorted) • Impedance: 6 ohms • Frequency Response: 45 – 20,000 Hz + 2 dB • Height x Width: 3” x 6 ½” • Anodized Frame
My home theater receiver is a Kenwood VRS-N8100 (100W RMS X 6 @ 6 Ohms) driving 4 Niles Coax 6.5” In-Wall speakers (Left / right front and rears) and 2 Niles Coax 5.25” paired for the In-Wall center. The back 7.1 surrounds are wireless driven by the preamp outputs on the N8100. The room dimensions are 24' X 24' with the LCD / Sub in the corner of the room with diagonal seating.
The N8100's crossover is fixed @ 80 Hz witch matches the bottom limit of my surrounds.
Will it work? Any recommendations?
Thanks, Frank
