Atomic 24' Subwoofer design box problem |

i just finished my DIY subwoofer design i have a Atomic subwoofer driver 24' in diameter dual coil and its 500watts for 8ohms . My box design- 16.5' in height 31' by 33 in square. im not satisfied by the way it pump. its not that pumpy as the others, an idea on how can i make it more soft bass? my amplification is a Sherwood am8500b which is 230 watts per channel and a crossover but i dont have the equipment for soft or hard knob.
