well, i decided to do a lil more research, which i shoulda done first anyway, and a trip to ebay revealed this picture and this description, i linked the site because i couldnt link to just the picture, at the bottom there are some pictures and the second one reveals the answer i was looking for, crossover and two speakers inside, i figured id share the knowledge :)
