Subject: Seeking driver and alignment recommendation.

I was hoping to get a recommendation on best driver and alignment for a 3-way speaker I am building. The design is essentially 2 integrated subs, as the woofer will be in it's own chamber and use a 150 Hz 2nd order passive crossover for each speaker.

The goal is not high SPL or rumble for HT, but tight bass with fast attack for listening to hard rock and thrash.

I am trying to keep the budget to $US100 per side, or lower. I have looked at drivers such as the Swan 305 12", Dayton Series II 15", or maybe even 2 Madisound 1252DVC 12" per side?

Any advice on drivers and what alignment to use is appreciated.
