I too would reccomend the Kicker sub, but I also think you should buy the RFL, and do SOMETHING with it, at that price. I have has experience with the RFL, and it does have SQ, just not when you REALLY pound it. Up to about 1200 watts it sounds alright, not Like a JL W7, but its good enough for listening, but dont go to IASCA with it. But once you pass 1200, it becomes more like REALLY loud mud, with about three clear notes, but those three will pop your balls out your nose. It is awesome I think as a reinforcement sub. If you have the money, time and motivation, I would reccomend you grab a second L7, and put the pair in, and an RFL, with a slightly larger amp. The pair of Kickers will keep the nice tight sound, but the RFL, since there is only one, will be hard to hear, but you will FEEL it. You will REALLY feel it.
Just my opinion though.
