Sounds like you need a separate amplifier to drive your subwoofer drivers.
Pyramid Phase III drivers are near, or at, the bottom of their driver offerings. However, Pyramid, unlike quite a few other manufacturers, do usually provide detailed t/s parameters for their drivers. Was there a specification sheet included with each driver. How old are the drivers? What's the model number (it should be written on the back of the driver somewhere).
