it isnt mine :( i may build a similar thing for my mate who has the space though.
i know how to make a band pass sub and how to make a horn well, but not combined I could not find any theory or way to correctly construct that' heh i DONT know how to combine bandpass sub and horn,it seems like they are just bandpass with a big port.
the picture is called 'labsub' ,2 of them infact. they were designed by tom danley from servodrive.com as a DIY free plans project.
30hz operation with 2 boxes against a wall can use a few watts,or 1kw per box.
if you love woodworking i reccomend the LABSUB. you could design your own if u want.. the labsub uses the LAB12 woofer from eminence. it has 104db efficiency it is designed for outdoor use in stacks, but in house it works fine in a corner, particurly with acorner reflector if you want details, reply back,i got a txt file with all the data. www.prosoundweb.com/lsp
for pics,autocad stuff and plans
cheers
_Mike
