Hi Tako!
Theres a number of drivers that will work excellantly for your application. I personally use the 18-Sound 18LW1400 18" bass driver, and its really great, with very low distortion and very high output. JBL also make some excellant 18" motors, including the 2241H, 2242H and 2245H. I would also consider the TAD 1602, which is also a really great part. See my website for details on my sub, http://www.geocities.com/adrian_mack/homepage.html, and then click on "Eighteen Sound Vented Sub".
The Aura 1808 has good T/S specs, but their website does not have enough info, such as distortion graphs. I suspect it is a good motor, but theres just not enough on their website to make an informed decision. But I strongly doubt you'll end up with anything disappointing from this part.
Anyhow, take a look at my website, and also those drivers and post back here if you need more advice. These motors work best in 7 to 10ft^3 vented cabinets.
Adrian
