Subject: Re: Have shiva sealed 1.3 ft.^3, any sub better in this box for low...

well, when i go to school and actually see my dorm room, i'll have a better idea of the available space. then, ill probably design a ported box to fit under my bed or something. i just thought that if there is a sub that would do well in this small sealed box i have, it would be easier to get that and drop it in than to rebuild my box. how will the sealed box with q=.707 compare to the vented 70-90 liter box tuned to 21 hz? mainly im concerned with a wide, flat response: good low end extension to around 20, but able to extend up to at least 70 or 80 Hz (because my speakers are MTMs with 5.25" mids, sealed...even lower midbass is pretty much absent from them, altho what's there is incredibly clean and tight)
