i just got a 12 inch kicker cvr and a california a400xl 400watt amp, and the way my friend hooked it up was he wired the sub to the battery and wired the amp to the fuse box under the "radio" fuse....and he spliced the 2 back speaker wires and connected them to the amp....for some reason this dosn't seem right, or sound right to me...theres too much bass instead of just the low bass..., but i have no clue what the right way would be....if anyone knows the correct way of hookin it up, please help me out....
you lost me here.. how do you hook up the sub to the battery? just hook the amp directly to the battery with an inline fuse.. ground to the chasis.. and if youve got to much mid base its either your box or adjust your gain/crossoverpoint
