1.3ft^3 is really too small for Shiva. A Qtc=0.707 sealed box requires 2.33ft^3 for this driver. I would personally use Shiva in a 70 to 90L vented box tuned at 21Hz. But if space really is that limited, Peerless XLS is a great option. As Chris said, it needs passive radiators, but thats not a bad thing. It does require you spend more money though. But you'll get a true 20Hz extension from a 10" XLS driver in a 30L box, which is slightly smaller than the 1.3ft^3 or 36L box which you currently have Shiva in.
