Subject: multi home sub placement - where to put ? |
|
|
i have 2 custom passive subs - one dual 12" sealed xover @ 120hz passive and one single 15" sealed xover @ 50hz electric. i have put them in seperate corners and they sound great . but i was still able to stand up ( they did not knock me over ! ) they are in phase -i tried other wire combos and could tell the diffence ( one was tighter and less muddy ) QUESTION - I AM GETTING SOME HOT SPOTS OF BASS IN THE ROOM . THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM. THE SUBS ARE 15FT APART . THE HOT ZONES ARE SMALL AREAS ( NOT NEAR THE SITTING AREA ) THE BASS IS MUCH LOUDER AND PUNCHY IN THESE SPOTS - THIS I LIKE . if i move the subs to one side only will this be better - ALSO , IS THE CORNER THE BEST LOCATION FOR BOOST ?
